This is my entry for the "Black Soul Black Heart" contest, for which I have one the 1st place [link] So major w00t for that

Concept: I feel that the black heart is in all of us. Some more, some less. Some, have so much of it... that it keep growing within, consuming the body and soul. When there's nothing left to consume... the black heart bursts out in a violent and agonizing display of pain. It sheds the flesh of the lesser human heart, and sends its agile liquid limbs to search for another flickering light of hope to feed upon and contaminate.

Done entirely in pencil, "inked" the blackness with Photoshop.
