Iron Maiden - "Strange World"

"The only place where you can dream, living here is not what it seems.
Ship of white light in the sky, nobody there to reason why.
Here I am, I'm not really there, smiling faces ever so rare.
A let's walk in deepest space, living here just isn't the place.

Stalks of light come from the ground, when I cry there isn't a sound.
All my feelings cannot be held, I'm happy in my new strange world.
Shades of green grasses twine, girls drinking plasma wine.
A look at love, a dream unfolds, living here, you'll never grow old.

Don't you hear me call?"

Concept: As Life burns away, and the earthly form melts, the Soul transcends into its floral seclusion, to seal itself until the world heals.

Line-work - Pencils.
Coloring, Clouds, Effects - Photoshop CS2 + Intuos 3 4x6.

As any art - its all up to your interpretation. This is my 1st work with a tablet and actually painting, not to mention the rest of the pencil work, so any constructive critique will be very much appreciated.

This has definitely been the most difficult, time consuming, ball breaking project of mine. Started out as a small sketch 2 years ago... turned into a bloody arena of brain crushing skill obstacles... A lot of things I had no idea how to draw, so many nights were spent passed out face down on the keyboard, after researching tutorials and reference material.
